Member in good standing of the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ #989) Graduating in 2008 with a master’s in gold metallogeny, Martin has driven exploration from remote grassroots breakthroughs to brownfield mine expansions. He has tackled multi-phase environmental assessments, managed company-wide health and safety, and shaped Québec’s mining profile through province-wide exploration data management and global outreach. Beyond geology, he has co-founded and administered a top non-profit since 2011, and is active in the community and cultural sectors.

François Gagnon, P. Geo

Managing Partner

Member in good standing of the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ #1907) With over 19 years of industry leadership, François brings a global vision to mineral exploration, blending high-level corporate strategy with technical execution. His career includes a 14-year tenure in the Glencore/Xstrata Nickel ecosystem, plus senior roles at Azimut Exploration and Dahrouge Geological Consulting. He is a premium collaborator who bridges field-level technical results with corporate economic and fiscal objectives.

Gilles Carrier, P. Eng.

Senior Engineer in Geology

Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ #125746). With over 19 years of experience in mineral exploration and 9 years in civil engineering, Gilles brings high-level technical expertise that blends advanced exploration with rigorous engineering project management. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi with a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, his career features key roles such as Project Manager, Chief Geologist, and Technical Director for companies including Winsome Resources, Bonterra Resources, Mines Abcourt, and Hydro-Québec. He notably contributed to the discovery of the Adina lithium deposit in the James Bay region. Recognized for coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Canada and Latin America, he is highly focused on delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient results. Beyond his professional operations, Gilles serves as a Board Member for the Cité de l'Or and is dedicated to acting as a mentor for the next generation of exploration teams.

  • Project Management & Operations: Development of exploration strategies, planning of drilling campaigns, strict budget and schedule control, and technical report writing.

  • Technical Leadership: Coordination of multidisciplinary teams on-site, implementation of QA/QC programs, resource reconciliation, and safety-oriented mentorship.
